Pierre Lees-Melou is starring on the ball for the high-flying Brest.

Given the freer role in their double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 formation, the ex-Norwich City midfielder has done everything he could be asked for with the ball at his feet. He has provided great ball progression through passing and dribbling, been a serious attacking presence in the final third through dangerous receptions and quite threatening long-range shooting, and retained possession very well amidst all this.

He might not be the best defensive-minded midfielder, but the Frenchman has done a decent enough job without the ball too. Given the security of a more conservative partner, Lees-Melou has shown his potential to flourish in midfield.
