Smarterscout is a fast, easy-to-use platform for evaluating the performance of football players around the world. It uses algorithms developed to assess players' contributions to winning, their playing style, and their skill levels. Plus, smarterscout has the ultimate tool for football transfers: adjustment factors to predict how a player in one league might succeed in another. Data-driven scouting isn't just for big clubs any more â now anyone can do it!

Currently smarterscout covers 55 leagues around the world, including six second-tier leagues for Premium and Pro users, and 15 first-tier leagues for Pro users, who can also access the third and fourth tiers in England and the second tiers in Brazil and Mexico.

- shot quality and scoring metrics
- statistics on involvement in moves leading to shots and goals
- fantasy league metrics including average minutes played, simulated scoring, and team goals conceded â all home and away
Users can search our database with these metrics or by using a specific player as a model. It's also easy to compare players side-by-side with our visuals. All users can use our unique smartermaps to see where players touch the ball and the actions they attempt. Premium and Pro users get access to our shot maps as well.
On player profiles and search results pages, Premium and Pro users can see badges for high performers, breakout seasons, and young prospects flagged by our proprietary algorithms calibrated against a decade of player debuts in Europe's top leagues. Pro users can filter their searches with these badges, as well as using our AI-based smartersearch tool and seeing all the metrics for an entire squad on one screen. Pro users also have access to our exclusive xGAR (expected goals above replacement) metrics.
smarterscout is free for Lite members, who get five searches and player profiles every day at no charge.
* Please note that RUS1 is not available as a benchmark league until further notice. Coverage of RUS1 is included with all other benchmark leagues for Premium, Pro, and Data Scientist users.
** Coverage of RUS1, SER1, SLN1, TUR1, and VEN1 has not yet been offered by our raw data provider for the 2023/2023-24 seasons. Data from previous seasons continue to be available on the platform.
