Óscar Zambrano is attracting a lot of attention with his performances in Ecuador.

Now becoming a key player for Copa Sudamericana champions LDU Quito, the young midfielder’s excellent ball retention and passing place him among the better defensive midfielders in the league already. He is fairly handy defensively too, disrupting opposition moves and making recoveries at a good rate.

Our model believes the 19-year-old Ecuadorian is just off the average Europa League level at the moment, so European clubs will surely be considering chasing his signature in the summer. Choosing the right league and team to move to will be key for his development.
