🇦🇷 Leandro Paredes is enjoying a good season in Rome

Leandro Paredes is enjoying a good season in Rome.

After joining Roma from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, the Argentine international has seen a good deal of game time as a defensive midfielder and preserved his position as a regular starter even after José Mourinho was replaced by Daniele De Rossi.

Paredes has done pretty well in all aspects from ball retention, defending (both in terms of quality and quantity) and adding some attacking output, particularly standing out with his dribbling and progressive passing.

Paredes has only signed a two-year contract with the Giallorossi but reportedly has a performance-based clause for an extension. At this rate, he should surely be on course to trigger it.
