Jonathan David’s attacking output has dropped off this season

Jonathan David’s attacking output has dropped off this season.

There was a lot of hype and interest surrounding him after a superb 2022/23 season as he returned with 24 goals in 37 Ligue 1 appearances. His excellent movement in the box stood out as he always managed to get on the end of crosses and cut-backs to consistently take shots from dangerous areas.

This term, however, he has only netted a couple of times in over 10 matches. Consequently, our model has dropped his attacking output from 59 to a lowly 20. Perhaps both he and Lille might be regretting not parting ways this summer.
