Gianluca Scamacca needs a successful season to get his career back on track.

The Italian striker was much-hyped when he left Sassuolo to join West Ham in the English Premier League, however the Hammers did not turn out to be the right stylistic fit for him so he never really got going. Having returned to Italy with Atalanta now, the 24-year-old will hope to have a good season to remind everyone of his potential. 

One thing that you can be sure of with Scamacca is that his shooting will also be quite dangerous thanks to his incredible ball-striking ability. Since his PEC Zwolle days in 2018, he has always earned a very high shooting rating above 85 from our model. Good shots – and a good few goals – are exactly what he and Atalanta will want to see.
