Young Aidan Morris has established himself as a mainstay in the Columbus Crew starting XI.

The now-22-year-old midfielder has seen his game go to another level under Wilfried Nancy, whose heavily possession-based style with a heavy emphasis on deep circulation has suited him very well. The young American offers exceptional ball retention thanks to his press resistance and strength in ground duels, as well as progressing the ball extremely well through link-up passing and dribbling.

Morris also works very hard out of possession, covering lots of ground and winning the ball back in various ways including tackling and intercepting thanks to his great reading of the game. He has already developed into one of Major League Soccer’s best and most well-rounded deep-lying midfielders and was named in the MLS All-Star squad last year.
